The CD was recorded live in concert at Memorial Hall in Wilmington, Vermont. It features seven classics from the great American songbook. Both performers/composers, Rosenthal and Brookmeyer improvise creatively and thematically while never losing sight of the joyous swing associated with these songs.

"This is an excellent CD, featuring jazz legend Bob Brookmeyer on his valve trombone and the fine young pianist Ted Rosenthal. The duo stretches out for longer versions of seven jazz standards that will please you for more than an hour. Porter, the Gershwins, Kern, Van Heusen, Berlin and Haggart have rarely sounded better. Planet Arts may be a lesser-known label, not available in the ordinary mall music store, but you won't go wrong buying this CD by mail. It's a real find and will be a fine addition to your collection."
