Performing since the 1970's, he has worked with artists as diverse as Jello Biafra and Candye Kane to Sue Foley, Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Hal Ketchum. As a songwriter he's written a fairly respectable number of hits.On this, his second solo album, Ted Roddy really shows us what he's got. As a songwriter Roddy is a Country writer with integrity to spare. Not slick, simply perfect. the musicianship and arranging is as good, if not better, than the over-produce pap coming out of Nashville these days. Roddy is also one heck of a great harmonica player, suiting his playing to the songs, never over-playing. His singing is perfectly suited to the material.If you want to hear a great, under-rated Country musician, this CD is definitely for you."
