CD Reviews

Terrible distortion
mackaboodle | Chicago, IL United States | 08/06/2001
(3 out of 5 stars)

"There is wonderfully great material within, especially if you are reluctant to have plunked down the seriously over-inflated import prices for A Sides and Besides, etc. "Pictures of Bernadette, " the song which led me to purchase this CD, is woefully over-recorded to a point of terrible distortion. I don't know if the individual CD I got is an anomaly, but I was far from pleased to have been burned so."
Essential songs missing (again)
Focused Frenzy | Salt Lake City, Utah USA | 12/13/2001
(1 out of 5 stars)

"One of those examples where they purpously leave essential songs out and call it a "collection". Where is "Such a Shame" , their best song ? or "Today", "My Foolish Friend", "Living in Another World" etc. Screw all those B-sides.Stay away from this one"
Excellent

"This c.d. has some priceless rarities that make it well worth it. The brilliant "I Don't Beleive In You" which isn't on many other Talk Talk collections along with the incredible b-side "Pictures of Bernadette" which rocks harder than possibly any Talk Talk song ever. This coupled with a lot of their othe rbig hits make this collection worth having."
