"While I do not currently own this CD, I would definitely like to. I heard the Miniature Tryptych played in concert, and I absolutely adored it. I borrowed a copy of this CD from my college's music library, and was again pleasantly surprised. First of all, I greatly enjoy Sviridov's compositions because they scream of life, without sounding confusing and complicated. Second, this particular recording really seems to let through the aura of the music. I can believe that the musicians love Sviridov as much as I do. I realize that my descriptions are vague, but I'm not a linguist. Just take my word for it when I say this CD is worth getting."
