Before she was a Tuscadero

"I remember seeing Ms. Quatro on the tour supporting "Your Mama Won't Like Me" She was the opening act for Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare". I was a senior in high School, and full of hormones, which was exactly what she was looking for in her performance. I played this LP about a thousand times that year, and even now break out some Suzi on the rare occasion.

Your Mama WON'T LIKE Me, is somewhere settled between "Roadhouse Rock" and "Rockabilly" that didn't quite seem to make a big wave in the States, my brother saw her in Germany and said she was a bigger deal there. What I do know is that this was an album I enjoyed quite a bit!

Strip m", "I bit off more than I could chew", and the title track are my favorites.

"Suzi is a great singer. She can rock with the best, or mournfully pour out a ballad that really makes you feel the emotion. She never got to be a household name and I never really understood that. She was standing on the edge of the fame cliff for what seems like forever but never quite got all the way there. Not that I pity her or anything, she still was famous enough that I can imagine she's living comfortably enough. Anyways, give this cd a spin. Alot of great music on it including one of my all time personal favorites "Prisoner of your Imagination"."
