The Daevid Allen and Euterpe Recordings Are Part of a Series of Recordings that Form the Bananamoon Obscura Collection and These Recordings Come from the Period When Daevid was Rehearsing for a Gong Reunion Gig at the Hippodrome in Paris in 1977. These Rehearsals were Recorded at Bananamoon Observatory Studios in Spain and have Been Re Mastered for this Release.

"Another collection of 'rehearsal' session tracks for the Gong reunion that took place in 1977 - believe their 'Est Mort' CD import is a live recording of that tour. Tunes here that I thought make for a good keepsake for completists and die-hards are "Magick Brother", "Sitting In A Teashop", "Brothasista Innocation" (Gilli Smyth's space whipers here are almost worth the admission price alone) and "Time Of A Bananamoon". Line-up: Allen - guitar & vocals, Gilli Smyth - space whisper, Pepe Milan and Juan Biblioni - vocals and Riba - violin & souzaphone. No. 1 in the series. Enjoy."
