Parmigano Reggiano or High Quality Cheese

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Nice. I believe this was the kickoff show for their fall 2002 tour. Disk 2 is a highlight with fine versions of "It is What it is," and "Emma's Dream," and Miss Brown's Teahouse. Disk 3 has a steel drum version of "Round the Wheel" and begins with the band (during the show) calling a roadie on his honeymoon! SCI music really grows on one. As an old deadhead I never thought anything would replace the experience of a dead show, SCI comes close and sometimes even surpasses. They are definitely tighter musically and usually sing on key.
This is a good intro if you are not familiar with these guys. The best introduction: Go see a show!"

"_____Great show. This 3 disk set is classic string cheese. The jams really flow on this one. The highlights of the CD for me are the jam from "Come As You Are" into the rarely played "Bend Down Low" into the "Salty Jam" and finally back into "Come As You Are" on the first disk. The second disk contained some classic cheese songs such as "Mouna Bowa" and fan favorite "Miss Brown's Teahouse." The third disk highlights include a "Way Back Home" into a really groovin "On the Road" back into "Way Back Home" and closing strong with an inspirational version of "Round the Wheel."
_____Over all, I think this is an above average cheese setlist and show to have on CD. This seems to be the best buy for the Cheese enthusiast (only after the Halloween Incident and the New Years Incident). If you are unfamiliar with String Cheese Incident and not accustomed to jam bands, you may not appreciate the lengthy (and unbelivably talented) improvising that occurs in many of the songs."
