Veatch | Lake Jackson, Texas United States | 10/21/2000 (4 out of 5 stars) "Albeit, it is not the 'ultimate' introductory collection(too many S.E. standards are missing). But, for someone who is just getting into Earle's music, it encompasses a fairly wide variety of what they can expect from this multi-talented performer. In my opinion, the 'highlight' of this collection is the mixture of 'live' cuts mixed in with the wide variety of studio cuts.It definitely does not rate up there with an 'Exit O' or an 'El Corazon', lest we forget that it is simply a compilation of a lot of good Steve Earle songs...And in that case A++++"
