CD Reviews

Great CD, Oakland Kings
D. Laurie | North Charleston, South Carolina United States | 04/01/2004

"For those who read my first reveiw, I admit, it was bland. Pre-meditated Drama will remain one of my favorite NL cd's and here is why. Crooked Eye, and Billy Bavgate aren't your typical NL rappers. In all actuality they are from Oakland California. They sent their demo to P before he headed back to New Orleans to further his No Limit empire. (To those up on their history, No Limit started in Richmond CA, Not No Orleans, LA) P liked what he heard and sent them and their in house producer DJ Daryl to New Orleans to cut an album, success was struck. Pre-Meditated Drama was 17 tracks of raw westcoast gangsta talent with southern season sprinkled on it. Amongst the albums highlights include "Trouble", "From South To The West", "Strong Heart", amongst others."
Great album!

"I like this album alot. It was well written, produced, and thought of. It was tight as hell and had some ear-catching rhymes that you'd probably repeat back to your boys! Cop this album"

"Like Whoa! Steady Mobb'n is Oakland's finest. If I don't say so my self. DJ Daryl, and Beats by the Pound, I guess U could say yall did that. Number 8, Puff Puff Pass is the sauciest song I've ever heard to that your my lady beat.(on tha mobb)And number 19, If I Could Change remix is so sad, I love those 2 songs I listen to them back to back, over and over. Some other favorites are 2,4,7,13,14,and 18. The featured artist on this album are are the illest, One in paticular is Dirty White of the group Untouchable Young Guns, The small part he offers on track 8, after Crook is so cool unitl I can't wait for their (duo, Dirty White, and Gator... Executive Producer Billy Bavgate) World War album to drop. Steady Mobb'n is truly talented. I can't wait to see them in Films and Ghetto-riffic Documentaries. Much luv Bill,& Crook U da bomb- U da bomb!.... Ghostowns Finest"
