A fantastic spirtual adventure pretending to be just music..

"I first was introduced to Quinn through a friend who brought it back with her on a trip. She had also introduced me to Dar Williams so I gave it a listen. I didn't know if I should dance or pray. Honestly I like to listen to this CD during rituals and while I pray, However it's good to bring to parties and for in the car. Go figure."

This is not an "Enigma copycat"!

"The previous reviewer (Frank) says that he is searching for music like Enigma. Well, I'm searching for music like Quinn, but there isn't any. This CD is so unique and original that it is hard to compare it to anything else. I think a comparison with Delerium is fair but to say that Quinn repeats the same kind of music over and over again is just not so. Each song seeks to create a mood and world of sound, often combining many different parts, inspirations and elements into the same song. The songs are all upbeat and feature numerous brief samples of chants from all around the world (especially Mongolian and African) and haunting vocals. The music is dark (lighter than Delerium's "Karma') and ambient and showcases many unusual instruments....this CD is worth the cost if not just for the first 3 songs!"
