CD Reviews

Snap - An amazing dance music!
05/22/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Ever since the 90's Snap! has been all over the clubs around the world. This collection of remixes and original hits is something that should be in every collection of both Snap! fans and dance music fans. The remix disc represents new updated versions of their hits. Europe's hottest DJ's gathered together with permission of Snap! producers to create collection with has span of 5 hit remix singles that ruled European charts in the last couple of years. It was perfect timing to release these songs all over again so that clubbers all over the world can experience the powerful NRG tracks. It was about time for people to remember Snap! before they unleash their comeback towards the end of 2004. BUY THIS NOW, play it and be taken to the world where pure energy lifts you high into the sky. This is a dance music in pure meditation form whether you're in your bed or on a dance floor somewhere in the club. This is universal dance music. These remixes give nee life to these tracks. CJ Stone mix of Rhythm Is A Dancer is a classic. What a track this is! One of the best tracks ever. Video is amazing as well.Original hits are also a good addition. The only bad thing about it is that it doesn't contain original versions of Welcome To Tomorrow, Rame and The World In Your Hands, which were all singles from Welcome To Tomorrow, album from 1995."
Good CD But NOT The 90's Group Snap

"I stumbled onto this CD on Napster and it's a nice slab of funk. I especially love the lead song, "Grove You" [sic].

However, it needs to be pointed out for clarification that this is *not* the nineties dance music band Snap of "The Power" and "Oops Up" fame. This is a completely different band, formed in Louisville, Kentucky.

Personally, I think there should be a way to prevent bands from being able to use the same name as a previously existing band in order to prevent this type of confusion, but I digress. The CD is great."
