CD Reviews

A real fan!

"Pay no attention to the guy who gave this band only one star. For someone who doesnt like this band he sure spends a lot of time obsessing over them. I first heard Skylab when they toured my home state so I cant be accused of "being a friend writing this as a favor" I saw them play not knowing who they were, but they were the BEST band Ive ever seen live. Their music has so much complexity, each song illustrating their musical range. Everyone at that club that night left musically satisfied. Anyone with ears and taste will walk away loving this CD. Its pact with so many songs you will not even notice that this is a debut album. Be sure to check out Beautiful Trip, Cocain Sky,and Like A Dream.
*And to the So-Called Hater of Skylab--Don't you have any other musical references then Radiohead? We all know their talents, but maybe if you had any musical knowlegde outside of the basic you might be worth listening to, but for now you are just petty.*
For the rest of the world buy Side Effects! And if you can see them live cause they only get better!"
SKYLAB ROCKS!!

"Pay no attention to that guy who gave this CD 1 star. I mean who still listens to Trance anyway? What do you think this is 1996? I don't think so! I first heard about Skylab's Side Effects after reading a review in the L.A. Times. The newspaper hailed Skylab as the best thing out there and boy were they right!
The band sound has influences from early Radiohead, U2 and Smashing Pumpkins, but they've manage to create a sound completely their own. I recommend this albumn to anyone who wants to be on the forefront of the next big music sensation.
Oh, and be sure to check out the songs. Ignition, Monster Made, and Radiation Sky"
