This CD is posted as Mediaeval Baebes but they are not really the singers on the CD. Since I can't change the header in the posting, I'm writing this review to warn anyone who really wants a Mediaeval Baebes recording.

Beautiful 'Silence'

"This CD single from Delerium contains remixes of the song'Silence' featuring Sarah McLachlan from their 1997 album 'Karma'. ... With McLachlan's lush vocals and lyrics, and Delerium's trance-like rhythms, this single is a must-have. For those music fans that may not always enjoy McLachlan's slow to mid-tempo ballads, this is a complete change of pace for her. Delerium's ethereal beats suit McLachlan just fine. Check this one out! END"

"After hearing numerous bootlegs of this tune, and only one "official" remix (the sanctuary mix), it's nice to see Nettwerk Records finally getting off their duff and releasing this amazing tune with some rollicking remixes. The Album Edit is nothing more than a shortened version of the album version. The original album version is approximately 6 minutes of amazingly perfect music. The Album edit is shorter, and seamlessly edited, but it still feels like there should be more to the song. The DJ Tiesto Mix and the Airscape Mix are well done, and I particularly like the Tiesto mix. He's got a nice introductory build to the song, which layers new things as the song builds. Of them all I do NOT like the Sanctuary Mix. I've heardit before, and I wasn't fond of it then. However, as a "remix" it's very well done. the editting is amazing, and the song sounds almost nothing like its original version (which, some reviewers may find a bonus). However, as I found the original version to be probably one of my favorite songs, I found this particular mix to be slightly disconcerting.Best wishes,--Mike"
