All of your favorite Christmas standards are here, sung by a large sampling of the cast: Elmo, Zoe, Big Bird, Snuffleupagus, Grover, Cookie Monster, Prairie Dawn, and Oscar, among others. But they sound a little restrained when they stick to the traditional songs, and with no original compositions--and no Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or other non-Christmas songs--Elmo Saves Christmas is surprisingly one-dimensional. --Randy Silver

"Nothing like this album, based on the great video, to add the holiday spirit to any playroom or early childhood classroom. During our visit from Santa, Rosita teaching Elmo "Feliz Navidad" really added an upswing to the party for my multiply handicapped kids. And "It's Christmas Again" is a great song to learn to talk/sing with."
