CD Reviews

Schiller does "Chill Out"
Laren Weiss | Auburn Hills, Michigan | 06/21/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This ambient album sounds similar to "Chill Out" by the KLF. Unlike most Schiller albums, there aren't any dance beats or big symphonic melodies- but it still has the distinct Schiller sound. "Prologue" could be more original, and big fans of Schiller like me might be disappointed. But there are worthwhile tracks here, full of chirping crickets and melancholy synthesizers.

The album was recorded in surround sound and I don't have that kind of stereo. If you are set up for surround sound, this would be an exquisite immersive experience."
This is NOT a regular studio album
C. Messick | Tuscaloosa, AL, USA | 05/28/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album is very ethereal and chilled out. A very nice listen when trying to relax.

Keep in mind, however, that this album is NOT a regular studio album. "Prologue" (Original German title: "Album Die Einlassmusik") is simply the music Schiller plays at the beginning of the concert at the entrance to "get you in the mood" for the real music."
