CD Reviews

Incorrect listing
Dark Avenger | Albuquerque, NM USA | 11/20/2007
(1 out of 5 stars)

""Product Description

The fourth installment of this horror/slasher film opens October 26 and features music by Filter, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Soulidium, Drowning Pool, Starsailor, Ex Japan, Diern Gray, Fear Factory, and Shadows Fall."

While X Japan (spelled incorrectly as Ex Japan in the product description) IS the movie ending theme, it is not on the soundtrack, as shown by the listing of songs available on the soundtrack.

I can only assume that "Diern Gray" was supposed to be "Dir en grey", as this appeared in a search for "Dir en grey". I sat through the entire movie, and trust me, there definitely was not any Dir en grey in the movie. It's not in the listing of the songs available on the soundtrack either.

Technically the fact that the Product description is wrong is considered false advertising. Someone (hello corporate?) might want to fix that..."
"Diern gray"? "eX Japan"? Yet... where...?

"Wow. So, it states that there is featured music by "Diern gray" and "eX Japan". They couldn't even spell Dir en Grey or X JAPAN correctly, and the songs aren't even on the CD.... why? So much for X JAPAN's American Debut, since no one stays for the credits of the movie anyways unless they were already an X fan I'm sure.... a HUGE disappointment. I was planning on buying it, but not anymore."

"Seriously, how could there be such a great song at the end of such a bad movie and it not even be made up for on the soundtrack? I would have bought this soundtrack if it would have had X-Japan's "IV" on it."
