These songs are guitar driven, loud, energetic, and in your face. Commissar and Drive, are distinctively newer sounding Savatage, but elements of these songs are reminiscent of the Gutter Ballet era. The third, Voyage, is an unreleased acoustic track played by former member Al Pitrelli. I have been listening to Savatage for over 15 years, and these songs are a strong addition to their catalog.
