The Fabulous Sammy Cahn

"When Sammy Cahn died in 1993 at eighty years of age we lost a great songwriter and musician. Not only that but Sammy was a great character as indicated on this CD. This was recorded live in 1972 and is a wonderful mixture of Sammy telling the stories behind the songs and hearing Sammy or other artists sing the songs. For me the best parts are the stories and Sammy singing whilst being accompanied on the piano.

This recording is too good to lose so let us see it reissued."
