CD Reviews

Let This One Into Your Heart!!!

"I began listening to Sam Riney back in the late 80's or early 90's. Poor Sam has never received the recognition that he deserves. He is an excellent sax player and even produced this CD. I like to try and review CD's while I am listening to them. And that's what I am doing now!!! The opening selection Let Me Into Your Heart is one of my favorite songs by him. Clearly it is the best song on this CD. The next 3 tracks are good as well. I could have done without the remake of Breaking Up Is Hard To Do...I don't even like Neil Sedaka's version. We Were Made For Each Other is an okay song, but overall the beginning of this CD is better than the ending. Let This One Into Your Heart if you like up tempo and smooth jazz styles!"

"This guy has a very sultry sound. He really makes you listen to the music. He really should be included in the top 10 sax players if not top 5. Some people just don't get the breaks that others do but this guy will make your day. He expresses himself very well on every cut. I hope he comes out with something new very soon. He has a couple more cds that the smooth jazz lover should check out. I listen to this guy and go "whoa! This guy is sweet". I just had to check out his other stuff and was not disappointed. Check this guy out. You'll love it."
"feel good" music

"If you feel low it makes you feel better. If you feel good, it helps you to maintain that good feeling. Sam demonstrates that the sax is the classic jazz instrument at its best."
