One of the best recent chamber music recordings. A pure joy!

"Excellent music selection and top level musicianship make this CD for sure one of the best clarinet chamber music recordings. The entire album is a joy to listen to.

Sabine Meyer is one of, if not THE best, clarinetist right now. It is not very often that a CD with such great selection of music and musicians is released.

One reservation about the recording quality:

Sabine plays the German Oehler system clarinet, which has a rounder tone than the more commonly used French Boehm system clarinet, therefore when recording such instrument care needs to be taken not to over-emphasize the round tone of this clarinet. On this particular recording, at times Sabine's clarinet can sound a bit too full. May be I am too picky, but I've noticed it. Overall though, this is one great CD. My favourite piece is the Poulenc's Sonata. It is amazing, especially in the hands of such musicians."
