"About the music, I won't say much. Sadus is a great hyperspeed tech/thrash band. If you're on this page in the first place you've probably already heard someone else's ringing endorsement. I second it.



About the reissue, apparently there was a serious screw-up where the wrong album's songs were on this CD. That has now been corrected, and new pressings of the CD should be correct. So order with confidence. I just got mine and it is, indeed, "Swallowed in Black." (If you buy a copy and want to verify that, go to http://www.metal-archives.com/ and check it against the lyrics listed for this album on Sadus's page.)"

"DESERVES 10 STARS!!!!!!!! the masses make me sick .inflating the heads of generic acts like limp bisquick ,kream korn & linkin pork w/ insane record sales. most of which have less than a handful of good songs that saturate the airwaves & end up crowding the shelves of used cd shops. they're getting rich while bands w/ mad talent,like sadus,have to travel abroad to find an audience & their cds slip out of print.sadus are not cappable of releasing crap.every song is a masterpeice!!! i HIGHLY reccomend "swallowed.." but if you ai'nt got the cash there are 5 tracks off it on "chronicles of chaos" for about $30 or $40 less. saduss'first 3 efforts were released on the roadblock label so cross your fingers for "illusions" & "swallowed.." 2 from the vault. but don't hold your breath."

"Aahhh....

the glory days of Bay area thrash.

these guys where the somewhat more intellectually orientated purveyors of the aforementioned music genre;intricate,complicated time signatures coupled with thought provoking(not devil provoking)lyrics.

i suspect most didnt "get" Sadus,as they arent mentioned much,then or now.

in any event,if ya run across this,pick it up - you'll thank me later!"
