"This song lives up to her previous hit single "By Your Side" and it's just as beautiful and meaningful. I didn't quite understand the song when I first heard it and I guess what I needed was a visual which all makes great sense since the video is on the enhanced portion of this single. Once again she released great simple and sensual remixes which is different compared to most artist that go all out to make their songs all dance like. Track Listing:1.) King of Sorrow - Radio Version (3.48) = You must have some issues if you don't know what this version sounds like, its a shorter version of the original. If you haven't heard it at all than you don't know what you're missing out on.2.) King of Sorrow - Guru Remix (3.47) = This version is for all you R&B peeps because it has a minor rap like beat and a rapper is raping a tid bit of the song. 3.) King of Sorrow - Fun Lovin' Criminals Remix (4.32) = This remix is another light R&B remix minus the rap and featuring a few reggae beats and Sade's voice is speeded up a bit.4.) King of Sorrow - Cottonbelly Remix (5.57) = This remix starts out like that of the original than totally changes in a dark kind of slow like rave track. This remix must be popular because on my CD it had a sticker saying, featuring the Cottonbelly Remix.5.) Enhanced Portion = Pop this CD into your computer and you get to watch the video and get to see the lyrics along with a few other good things. After being pleased with these remixes and the remixes of "By Your Side" I am looking forward to her next single, and you should be to other wise you don't know what your missing out on. So try and buy this single and I'm sure you will enjoy it even more than I do."

"When Sade's not crooning about the highs of love, she's devastated by the misery of heartbreak. The sweeping King of Sorrow (the song and video) tells the story of a struggling woman who juggles the hardship of motherhood with dreams of becoming a singer. The remixes by Cottonbelly and the late Guru are great, but the Fun Lovin' Criminals mix is beautiful! Bluesy with some harmonica and touches of reggae. Keep an ear out for the No Ordinary Love sample ("This...is...no!")! If whenever you feel like life is getting you down, let Sade heal your heart."
