"I'm short of words. Pletnev's arrangement is so magnificent that one can only understand it by hearing it. And it's even more fun for those who know the original ochestration well before. Pletnev's cundoctors ability shines through and he really sounds like a whole orchestra. And keep in mind that this was recorded when he was still in his early twenties. The Shcedrin and Prokofiev are also stunning. With this recordings and the Scarlatti set Pletnev signs in as one of the foremost pianists of our time. He's unbeatable in the Russians."
