Priceless recordings!

"This musical document made its appearance thanks to the web known efforts of this magisterial label, always worried for making us to know around the last treasured findings all over the world.

Once more, the artistic profile of Rudolf Serkin not only enhanced but enriched notoriously, once he was engaged by Caslas's genius. His musical adroitness, profound musicality and visceral passion may be fully appreciated in these both recordings. He loved with special affection Beethoven's Sonata No. 30 and certainly I should mention he was one of the most prominent interpreters of this elusive and dreamy Opus, immensely difficult to play successfully, and he really did it several times.

But also, we had to remark that Serkin was always one of the most formidable performers of Diabelli `s Variations and particularly this version is plainly loaded of sidereal charm and cosmic plenitude, without ostentations or any sort of flippancy so common in many soloists of the instrument actually.

Historically, this album is fundamental icon in you invaluable musical collection; so, don't miss it.
