Bought it for all the wrong reasons

"I bought this because I wrote "Mr. Jackson", one of the songs on the album. I had heard the recording but wanted to have it in my collection. When the album arrived I found that I had gotten due credit on the album cover but the digital track information credited the song to Eddie Miller. That said....

This is a pretty good recording, overall. Rose was a powerful singer and a powerful individual, and that came across. There are some excellent songs on the album including a Hoyt Axton composition, the production was good and there were sporadic bursts of brilliance in the musicianship.

If you would like to hear a Country Music legend produced in a Country/Bluegrass context, you might very well enjoy this recording."
