"All of the wonderful things that have been said about Rory Gallagher in the other reviews for this album are true. He was an extraordinary artist, and it is sad that he has now gone, and did not have higher profile when he was alive. However, it is also true that this album, his debut album, is far and away the weakest disc he put out. So, if you want an introduction to Gallagher (and you do), don't start at the beginning; start with "Irish Tour '74" and work from there."
