A poor representation of House music

"This disc was a huge disappointment to me. Ron Carroll seems to be a decent DJ. The mixing on this disc is ok. Its the track selection I have issues with. Songs 5,8,9 and 11 are nice cuts. Energetic and smooth, they will definitely get your head nodding. The skip button on your CD player was designed specificly for all the other tracks. Track#1 starts out decent but never picks up steam, also there's a breakbeat effect that sounds like the CD is skipping, not very pleasant to the ears. Track#2 has an annoying, weird sounding synthesized vocal hook.
Track#3 is very repetitious, I found myself waiting for something to develop but it never did. Track#4 consists of a lude/crude narration over lackluster music. Track#6 is a crappy remix of a great jam. A risk remixers take when they try to improve on someone elses work.The CD ends (mercifully) on a weak note with a tired sounding cut that has an overused 1980's R&B sound to it. Learn from my mistake. Don't waste your money on this one."

Groovy all the way

"I bought this CD and I must say that the music is infused with both deep house and disco house mixes. Maybe the name for this CCD's title may not be appropriate as most people associate anything with "IBIZA" as instant Trance/Hardcore/Progressive styles of music. It could have been called "House Afterhours" for house music enthusiasts. I must disagree with another reviewer who rated tis CD one star because I can literally dance to the tunes on this CD. Unlike Trance or Progressives, this one will just hum you along with a steady beat of the deep house and disco beats. I'm sure that there are many other people who will find this CD a favorite! Go out and buy this CD and feel the groove. If you like deep house and groovy style of house music besure to check other talented DJs such as DJ Garth, Mark Farina, Kevin Yost, Ian Pooley, David Alvarado, Marques Wyatt, Nick Holder, H-Foundation, and Miguel Migs."
