James Gkilchrist has a beautiful voice with cristal volcals and Alison Nicholls sounds as an angel. I believe Alec Roth was realy inspired when composing both music From California and Romantic Residues. I would recomend this CD for everyone who likes good interpretation. Ravel's Cinq Melodies Populaires grecques is precious and so Is Une flute invisible composed by Saint-saens. One of my favorites is La lettre du jardinier (Tournier) which I first heard after buing the CD."
