Gorgeous Aranjuez

"I had the vinyl of this in the 80s, so I don't know what the other reviewer means about the de-squeaking of the string noise. Weird thought though; as a guitarist I kinda like them there squeaks, paints a picture of the left hand technique in the mind's eye.

My vinyl version is the finest Aranjuez I've heard, of many, and it is indeed a glorious experience. Williams is something else here, deserving of his lofty reputation, and this is certainly one of the performances that cemented it.

Find the vinyl if you can, it's warm and analog and altogether a lovely experience."
