Perhaps a recording with a more significant symphony orchestra, such as New York or Chicago performing would be a better investment. While the piece is fantastic, the orchestra simply could not really handle the large dynamic changes from the powerful to the delicate." First of all, the sound is great. Maybe the earlier reviewer had a bad copy, but the sound on my CD is exceptional. The performances by the 2nd tier orchestra are sensational. They play with great passion and are clearly enjoying themselves. No matter how great an orchestra, if they sound labored, the music sounds dull. For 3 bucks, you cannot go wrong here."
