CD Reviews

Re-hash of the Centre of the Earth

"This is just a re-release of the sub-standard instrumental re-recorded (not so) Greatest Hits - available in bargain bins everywhere. Avoid"

"First of all, the other review is true: it IS a re-release of the second disc of a Greatest Hits compilation released in 1994. However, disc one were Rick's versions of Yes tracks, and disc two were new versions of SOME of his solo tracks.(I say SOME beceause there is a ton of stuff of his.) The bulk of it is a new version of 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth'(albeit instrumental only), and three others. Personally, I didn't care so much for the first one, to tell the truth. I liked the second disc much more. I had the Greatest Hits, but traded it in at Streetlight Records.I made a copy of disc two on tape, but something happened to it ... to make a long story short, it's nice that there's another version that's just the Rick solo tracks. So, taken like that it's a cool disc."
