New liner notes, nice track list.

"No male solo artist dominated the pop charts in the early 80's as much as Rick Springfield did. Between his acting gig on General Hospital and his face plastered in just about every teen music magazine on the mark, Rick Springfield was the man of the early 80's. It has been twenty five years since Rick's classic album Working Class Dog was released. The album featured the #1 single "Jessie's Girl." Rick also picked up a Grammy award for the song. The songs "I've Done Everything For You," and "Love Is Alright Tonite" were also big hits from the Working Class Dog album.

Rick's music videos were always in heavy rotation on MTV. His early videos were rather low budget but some of his later videos such as "Human Touch" and "Bop Til You Drop" were more like mini-movies. In 1984, Rick starred in the movie Hard To Hold. As the 80's progressed Rick's Top 40 popularity faltered just a little bit but he found one last 80's chart hit in the late 80's with the songs "Rock of Life" in 1988.

We Are The 80s Rick Springfield has pretty much the same track list as previous greatest hits collections. The CD includes 14 of Rick's biggest songs. The track list is similar to that of "Rick Springfields Greatest Hits (which means no "Bruce."). The CD also includes new liner notes.

As the other We Are The 80s CD's an arcade video game is included.

The 80s talents live on - a fun cd to enjoy!

"Whether this cd represents songs of nostalgia for you from a happy time in the 80s when pop ruled (and the great songs of Rick Springfield) or if it's new discovery for you - this is a fun cd to have. Will put you in a great smiling bopping mood. I would have appreciated VH1 offering us some unreleased track, but it is a fun compilation all the same. A few of my own fav Rick songs are missing but "Love Somebody", "Don't Talk to Strangers" and of course, the eternal ever popular "Jessie's Girl" make the cd fab.

The other special part about this cd is a set of liner notes from Rick Springfield himself. So how can you not buy it? Go for it and enjoy! Then get one of Rick's later years cds to add to your collection of 80s hits too!"
