Tucker can stand with the best of them.

"Haven't listened to Richard Tucker in a long time. He still stands as one of the best Tenors in the history of recordings. This CD is wonderful, and a reminder that Caruso is STILL unrateable. He simply arrived before any

reliable recording technology. If you love great Tenors, you Must have Tucker, He would have been the logical "4th" Tenor. He is recent enough to sound like the present-day Masters, although Domingo & Pavarotti have the benefit of billions of $$ worth of evolution in recording technology-- Still, Tucker's records don't make you run screaming from the room. Amazon has a CD of the Verdi Requiem, R. Tucker,Tenor, and Jerome Hines, Bass, -Toscanini is conducting. Tucker's "Ingemisco" is amazing, and Jerome Hines makes some of the present-day basses sound like freshman voice students.

I love the CD in question -(Tucker-Recital)- and appreciate the Lightning-Fast service. Superb!-Paul Sjolund.
