Pianistic master, charismatic artist and stylistic innovater

"Ricardo Vines was a colleague of Ravel and Debussy and premiered many of their pieces. A spaniard, he produces wonderful variation of rhythm and tone. The (all to limited) recordings suggest that much of the stylistic innovation that is captured in Ravel and Debussy's composition originated with Vines. NOTE- I haven't seen / heard the pearl C.D. but rather the EMI reference release "Recital", which has been out of the catalogue for far far too long..."
