Feeling down? This is the song
10/20/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I am not a big fan og R.E.M. but this is by far one of the best songs I have ever heard. I love it.It's perfect for that rainy day, feeling low atmosphere. The song flows along at just the right pace and the lyrics are great. If you've ever wondered is there a depressing song that I could love, then buy this and find out. You won't be disappointed..."

""Everybody Hurts" is one of R.E.M.'s most beautiful and heartfelt songs. It is about the feelings of suicide that many people have and Michael Stipe relates to those people by saying it's okay to hurt as everybody feels that way at one time or another. The song is a helping hand to those who are looking for someone to reach out to them. The cd contains fine live versions of "Orange Crush" & "Belong" as well as the unreleased "Mandolin Strum"."
