CD Reviews

I was there!!!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I was at this October 21st concert...and it was AMAZING. From the opening with "Two's Company" to the ending with three songs from "Side Show." The highlights include Emily's "No One is Alone," the story about the wardrobe mix-up for "Side Show" and Emily singing "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from "The Little Mermaid." However, the true gem on this album is Alice's "You Have to Be There" from the new show "Kristina." It brought down the house and I can't wait to see the show...if only for that song. Her rendition of Tom Kitt's "I Miss the Mountains" is both sad and uplifting, too. Plus, Tom played piano on the song and he is just a genius. This is an album really for those who love the women. Incredible."
WOW!! TOGETHER AGAIN!!

"This album is a must have!! These 2 leading ladies of broadway have done it again. Something magical happens when these two get together. You can see why they beacme the stars that they are. Alice's rendition of "Broadway Baby" will knock your socks off, as well as her heart rendering version of "You Have To Be There". Emily Skinner holds her own with the hilarious Mae West "Come Up and See Me Sometime", and here "bleeping" amazing version of "Poor Unfortunate Soul". I'm Sold! You won't be dissapointed! Scout's Honor!"
