"this album is not available at the present time, this is a crime, of all of the music that has been produced for televison, the roots album is the most to the point when looking at the african american experience during their first 200 years here in america. this cd is a must for all americans!"

"I have the album which someone gave me after the series aired back in the 70s. I'd love to have it on CD but it's impossible to find. Is there someone out there who can pull some strings to get this classic released on CD?"
