"This is a great band with a great history. This older album represents an era when the sound was less driving, less swinging, but still a gem of musicianship. Over an hour of music that showcases the band's ability to provide a range of great sound -- a more lyrical, melodic sound than today's PRP, but still quite sharp on rhythyms, with nice brass and solid if understated percussion...very engaging. If you like this band, it's a great album for rounding out your collection. Don't expect it to be as danceable as much of what they produce today, but very worthwhile."
