"It is. This album is essentially a greatest hits recording done DJ-style: a continuous mix of some 50 classic cuts of James Lavelle's label. And it goes off. For MoWax fans, this is like giving a dog an entire skeleton - not only featuring such artists as Shadow and Krush, but the two of them mixed together! Nonetheless, it's a fantastic introduction to the label as well, as the 'Nauts mix and match with a degree of mastery and humour designed to satisfy devoted followers and new listeners alike. It flows, no, churns at a rapid pace, never settling down on, well, anything, which keeps the intensity level high, and makes you beg to be surprised at what you'll hear next."

"The Psychonauts duo get free access to every Mo'Wax tune and they sure pick the best out of the back catalog. Their mixing skills are at quite a high level too. The drawback of this compilation is that it's simply not enough to give you the big picture on Mo'Wax . On the other hand it allows you to get a glimpse of some other artists apart from the famous dj shadow /dj krush and money mark. So ,if you want to dig deeper into Mo'Wax or you just need this compilation for just what it really is(ie. the first and only retrospective Mo'Wax mix cd)then go for it. Plus: it has really interesting artwork and packaging."
