Another Beautifully Honest Song by P!NK

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I had my doubts about Pink's sophomore CD, everyone was complaining of the drastic change between Missundaztood and Can't Take Me Home. When I heard "Don't Let Me Get Me," I knew that Pink was about to become a lasting influence on rock music. Abondonning her former ghetto-fabulous songs (which were undeniably great), Pink reveals a more personal and softer side. Coming off unapproachable on her last album, softness was a very wise career move. The single has four songs, all of which are great.1. Radio Mix: The one you've heard a million times on MTV and the local top 40 station, you know how fabulous this song is. Though you probably want this for the mixes!2. John Shanks Remix: Has a more soul drenched beat and an absolutely terrific arrangement. It incorporates her the sound of her old album with the lyrics of her new one. It's creative and great to listen to.3. There You Go (Live From Sydney): Proves that Pink is just as phenomenal in concert as on her LPs, Pink belts out the tough girl anthem that was her debut. For the novice, this will show you the two sides of Pink nicely- self concious and tough talkin'!4. Juicy Horn Mix: This is THE dance track. Not too long, but it gives the song more substance. You'll easily lose yourself in the infectious and addictive beats and everyone who listens will be tempted to get up and dance (or at least clean their closet- which is also a good thing!). I very highly recommend this single, it's one of the best of 2002!"
