"Paul Berkowitz is one of the foremost contemporary interpereters of Brahms' piano music. In this CD he displays his great sense of harmony and voicing. He brings out the melodies with great care so as to speak the language of Brahms as it was intended to be heard. Op. 118 is standard Brahms repetoire but all three on this CD are mature late works deserving full attention and a great performance such as this one."
