Beethoven as it should be...

"These recordings highlight the subtlety and nuance in Beethoven's compositions that are all too often missing. The fortepiano produces a delicate and charming sound that Levin uses freely with great spontaneity. A superb performance, with wonderful orchestral articulation and texture to support the piano."
