"Do not buy this CD expecting to hear Frampton. This is a Nanette Workman album, also packaged as "Beating the Bootleggers" and "Lovetaker" on other labels. This is a shameless scam, comparable to all the bogus Hendrix releases of Curtis Knight & Lonnie Youngblood recordings as Jimi Hendrix albums. Frampton possibly (???) plays guitar & sings background vocals (???) on a cut or two but does not sing lead on anything. I cannot recommend this album to anyone for any reason."

"The title says Peter Frampton and friends, but nowhere on this CD is Peter Frampton. The musicians are not identified and all cuts are live and there is one Frampton cover--the singer on all cuts is the same person and his voice is terrible--Do not bother with this terrible CD"
