"Paul Weston was a genius orchestrator. From his earliest efforts with Tommy Dorsey, to the wonderful albums he created for his wife, Jo Stafford, his musicianship and good taste always shine through. If you'd like a sample of his skills at original composition I recommend "Crescent City Suite" - his homage to New Orleans.
