Schryer | Poquoson, VA United States | 10/04/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Henryk Szeryng, though less well known than his talent merited, was one of the greatest violinists of the 20th century -- equal in technique to Heifetz but superior to him in artistry. He gives outstanding performances of the famous Paganini 1st violin concerto as well as the less well known 4th concerto on this CD which presents excellent four channel sound on SACD players and very good stereo sound on regular CD players. Recommended, especially to lovers of great violin playing."
