Hacienda Records presents the debut CD by a talented conjunto from Taft, Texas. The group is called Los Unibles, and the CD is appropriately entitled Por Primera Vez. Por Primera Vez is an accurate description of this conjunto, whose members came together three years ago. All self taught musicians, they began performing in backyards and garages just for fun. Now it has evolved into a money making conjunto; perform on a weekly basis at South Texas Conjunto venues.
The group continues to gain popularity and so the next logical step in their musical career is a full CD of their own music. While a strong influence of the beloved De La Rosa style is evident, the group also brings a youthful sound to their blend of rancheras and cumbias. Highlights of this CD include: Pajarillo De La Montana, Que Me Lleve El Tren, La Mucura and many more.
