"Of all the SAC OST's (be Human excluded) this is in my opinion the best. Featuring many of the main themes heard in the 2nd Gig episodes and a couple from season one, this installment is a bit darker and to me more emotionally driven than the previous two. Of the instrumental tracks, there are fewer of the funky jazz/prog tracks and more orchestral pieces. Remaining consistent with the established SAC sound there is plenty of electronic based music here, and some really moving vocal tracks. The booklet features some really nice artwork too with lyrics of all the vocal tracks (tho one is not in English). Overall this CD seems to best capture the mood generated by the intellectually complex yet deeply human motifs that make SAC such a great story. A great addition to any GITS fan's collection.

Highlights:

The End Of All You'll Know - (Fantastic vocal track featuring Scott Matthew)

Torkia - (heard in many action sequences from the 2nd Gig)

Know Your Enemy - (background music heard throughout 2nd Gig)

Europe - (from the Trans-Parent episode)

Hantou No Higashi - (beautiful orchestral piece)

Mikansei Love Story - (nice ambient acoustic guitar based piece)

Christmas in the Silent Forrest - (end theme of 2nd Gig)

Sacred Terrorist - ("Kuze's Theme" as I like to call it)

35.7ºC - (from the Motoko/Batou safehouse scene in season 1)

Dew - (heard at the beginning the Red Data episode)

These are some of the most recognizable from the show, and some of my favorites. Hope this was helpful.
