If you love cello, you will enjoy this work in its entirety. All selections are moving and impeccably performed. I am a Yo Yo Ma fan and usually not drawn to other artists on that instrument; however, Ophelie Gaillard is singularly marvelous and will not disappoint the most hardcore of Ma's fans.
In particular, the 2nd track, Dvorak's "Song to the Moon" is surreal. Anyway, the only thing better than a cello is two cellos. Enjoy with a glass of wine . . ." |
