Emmanouil Petridis | Athens, Greece | 09/25/2001 (3 out of 5 stars) "Introduced to the music of Omara Portuondo through the Buena Vista Social Club CDs, I was more than eager to listen to this one, and I promptly snapped it from the store racks. Well, I must admit it was not what I expected. This CD is a collection of her earlier recordings. She comes oftenly with a shrill voice, let down by less than perfect recording. This CD may document her carrer, but it may also not suit all tastes."
