CD Reviews

You gotta check this baby out !!

"This is the only song on the Rock Steady album that is good. It's upbeat, very very catchy, and sounds very loving if you're playing it for a friend. Rock Steady isn't a 'bad' cd. I'm starting to like some of the other songs. Hella Good (what the heck does that mean?), Underneath It All, and Don't Let Me Down are ok songs, but soon they will grow on me. Then they will be amazing! 'Hey Baby!'.. Recommended!!!"
What a comeback!

"After a significant rest following their previous album 'Return To Saturn' No Doubt have returned with this stunning new single. Although certainly different to the rest of their material, Gwen Stefani's gorgeous vocals and a catchy beat reall do mean that you'll be dancing to this before long. It treads a fine line between being different and for a refined taste only but the single's success just shows how well the band can put together a song. The inclusion of a remix of 'Ex-Girlfriend' shows the punk leanings that No Doubt had on the last album, although it's a credit that both styles work so well here. The remix gives the angry song a lighter feel. The video is a just plain fun, filmed almost in a comical way as we see the band go to a party. As ever Gwen remains luminous."
Buy this it's great

"This is the same version released in Australia and this excellent CD also has the colour film clip for the Hey Baby song which is pretty good. It has excellent computer graphics for the menu of the film clip. The other two songs are pretty good. Hey Baby Homeboy mix is actually pretty good with better background music than the original version. It's pretty much the same except for that.Ex Girlfriend the Psycho Ex Mix isn't as good as the original version and contains a lot of computer sounds. It's still pretty good though."
